About this activity

Kite center Sri Lanka is based at the famous Kappalady Kite Lagoon. Its the birthplace of kite surfing in Sri Lanka and it is here where you find lots of flat water, the best wind in Kalpitiya and a wave spot piling up a nice 5ft wave at the doorstep. Kite center Sri Lanka is nestled within a stunning 22 acre beach front property of Elements Beach & Nature Resort. We are an affiliated IKO kite school and are operating according to the highest international standards. Our professional kite instructors offer kite courses, private and semi private lessons, facilitate kite rentals and safaris to the many surrounding kite spots. They also teach wake foiling and foil kite surfing. On quiet days you can explore the surrounding mangroves and lagoons by SUP or Kayak and if you are more drawn to the land, hop on one of our mountain bikes and take a ride through the rural back country of Sri Lanka. From October to April we also facilitate Dolphin & Whale watching and scuba diving.
