These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of Lankify ("we", "our", or "us"), including our website and the services we provide such as hotel bookings, tours, excursions, activities, transport, and event management. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.


01.  INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Lankify! These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our platform and services, including hotel bookings, tours, excursions, activities, transport, and event management. By accessing or using Lankify, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.


02.  HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

📘 “Platform” refers to Lankify’s website and services.
📘 “Vendor” refers to service providers who list their services on Lankify.
📘 “Customer” refers to users who book or inquire about services through Lankify.
📘 “We,” “Us,” or “Our” refers to Lankify as an intermediary facilitating booking.


03.  SERVICES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Lankify acts as an intermediary between customers and vendors. While we facilitate bookings and payments, we do not directly provide services listed by vendors. Any agreements or disputes regarding service quality must be handled between the vendor and the customer. However, Lankify may assist in dispute resolution where necessary.


04.  USER ACCOUNTS

👤 Vendors must create an account to list services and manage bookings.
👤 Customers must register to make bookings but can browse the platform without an account.
👤 Users are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and securing their login credentials.


05.  BOOKINGS, PAYMENTS & FEES

💳 Customers must make full payment at the time of booking.
💳 Lankify processes payments on behalf of vendors and transfers earnings at the end of each month.
💳 Supported payment methods: Bank transfers, debit cards, and credit cards.
💳 A 3% service charge applies to all transactions.
💳 Prices may or may not include taxes, depending on vendor policies.


06.  CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

🔄 Cancellation policies are vendor-specific and may vary.
🔄 Vendors must clearly outline their cancellation and refund terms in their listings.
🔄 Lankify handles refunds based on the vendor’s cancellation policy.


07.  VENDOR RESPONSIBILITES

🛠️ Vendors must maintain accurate pricing, availability, and service details.
🛠️ Vendors are responsible for providing the services booked by customers.
🛠️ Lankify is not liable for any failures or disputes related to vendor services.


08.  CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITES

🧑‍💼 Customers must provide accurate booking and payment details.
🧑‍💼 No refunds will be issued for customer no-shows.
🧑‍💼 Customers must comply with any specific requirements for booked services (e.g., age restrictions for certain activities).


09.  DISPUTE RESOLUTION

⚖️ In case of disputes, customers and vendors should attempt to resolve issues directly.
⚖️ If a resolution cannot be reached, Lankify may intervene and mediate the issue at its discretion.

10.  LIABILITY & DISCLAIMERS

⚠️ Lankify acts only as an intermediary and is not liable for any damage, service failures, or disputes between vendors and customers.
⚠️ We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services listed by vendors.

12.  PRIVACY & DATA HANDLING

🔐 Users can update or modify their personal information via their account settings.


13.  ACCOUNT SUSPENSION & TERMINATION

❌ Lankify reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for policy violations, fraudulent activity, or poor service.

14.  MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

📘 Lankify may update these terms at any time.
📘 Users will be notified via email or platform announcements.
📘 Continued use of Lankify after updates implies acceptance of the revised terms.


15.  GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

📘 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
